2020 Congress Canceled

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the USISTD regretfully will have to cancel the 2020 Congress, Exam Sessions and Annual General Meeting scheduled for May 8, 9 and 10 in Portland, Maine. The health of our Members is our primary concern and supersedes all other considerations. Our Congress Sub-Committee is working to set up another Congress next Spring, once again in Portland, Maine. We will release more details as they become available.
We would like to thank our scheduled Examiners, Miriam Ellis and Phillip Stephens and their Assessment Mock Candidate, Connie Reeves for their pledged assistance. We are also thankful for our slated presenters, Jang and Adele Don, Ed Simon and Tonja Dias. They had a marvelous set of presentations prepared. Also Jang and Adele were to give a beautiful 4 dance show for us.
I personally would like to thank our Congress Sub-Committee for all the hard work and preparations they put into making this an unforgettable Congress experience. They are Audrey Jean Samara, our Chairperson, along with Deb Roy, Mandy Ball, Michael Feeley and Kim Smith. I know they will immediately be setting to work on our next Congress.
For those of you who had already purchased tickets, you may email our Treasurer Kim Smith at dddanzon@gmail.com for a refund. Please include your complete mailing address in the email. If you would like to reschedule or be refunded for an examination, please email Mandy Ball at mandyballroomdance@gmail.com with your intentions. Thanks to all those who were set to participate in our Congress. We appreciate your support.
Again we would like to express our sincere regret over the necessity of cancelling this year’s USISTD Congress, in the face of uncertain times caused by COVID-19. Stay safe!

Wishing you all the best,
Steve HadleyPresident-USISTD
